The impossible task that is engaged in Grandi Successi is to keep on dancing as long as it feels pleasurable to the dancing body. The same deal is made with the audience, who is free to watch, talk, stay, go, change position and even music, in and out the open performative habitat. The pleasure is fed by what is present (here and now), including audience and performer in the same research: staying, observing, expecting, interacting, positioning in relation to each other. It all becomes a constant stream of influence and inputs to and from the dancing body, which is never alienated, but yet determined to follow its utopian task: do not let the pleasure vanish.

Il compito impossibile che ci si prefigge in Grandi Successi è quello di danzare il più a lungo possibile senza smettere di provare piacere. Da questo la definizione di durational performance ad libitum. La stessa condizione di ricerca del piacere si stabilisce con il pubblico, che è libero di guardare, parlare, restare, andare, cambiare posizione e persino musica, dentro e fuori lo spazio della performance. Il piacere è alimentato da ciò che è presente (qui ed ora), includendo pubblico e performer nella stessa ricerca: ogni azione e reazione diventa un costante flusso di input verso e dal corpo danzante, che non è mai alienato, ma determinato a perseguire il suo compito utopistico: perseverare in una disperata ottimistica pratica del piacere.
